FCA Carnival

On Friday Faith's school hosted a carnival with a luau theme. It made for such a fun family night. Faith had a blast and got to play with a bunch of her classmates. It was so cute to watch. Will and I each spent a portion of the evening running a booth. I got to work at the bungee run. The kids were so funny trying to get as far as they could before they were bounced backwards against the bouncy floor. They had me cracking up. There was live music, a cookout, prize drawings, and lots of games. Will and I each took a shot at the paint ball booth. Faith took home a few prizes and we all had a really good time. Looking forward to next year!

Easter Fun!

I love Easter! This morning, Faith woke up to find an Easter basket waiting for her at the table, and new Easter sandals too! She was of course delighted. Then off to church we went. I really enjoyed the service. Its such a blessing to think about Christ's amazing sacrifice. There was an Easter egg hunt for the little ones in Sunday school. When we picked her up after service, she had a bag with at least two dozen eggs, apparently she doesn't mess around with egg hunting! After church, we went to celebrate Easter with my family at Jim and Cathy's house. The food was so delicious and we had a blast. Faith even got an Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa. All this, combined with the Easter party at preschool, pretty much added up to Faith making out like a bandit with Easter goodies this year!

Overall, it was such a nice day. We sat outside at Jim and Cathy's and it was beautiful today! We even played a couple card games, which was a lot of fun. Faith had so much fun and didn't even seem to mind that she ended up being the only kid there. It was clear we all really enjoyed ourselves. Will and I had agreed that it would be nice to have some time for the three of us to relax at home. We ended up staying until eight o'clock though, because no one was ready to leave sooner. So thank you everyone for making our day so enjoyable, we love you! Here are a few snapshots from our day...

Thanks for the new duckie Grandma & Grandpa!

I just love this face!

Here's hoping that everyone had a lovely Easter day with friends and family. Tomorrow Faith and I will be decorating eggs with some neighbor friends of hers. Wish me luck!
