Go fly a kite!

That's what we did this afternoon!  Faith got her first kite several months ago from her Auntie Autumn and it was our first chance to use it.  I had been waiting and waiting for the right weather, so today we jumped at the chance when I saw the tree branches blowing around.  It had been quite a while for me, so it took some time to get the hang of it and there was about 10 minutes of untangling the line.  The important thing is we were eventually successful and had a lot of fun.  Seeing the kite up even brought some neighbors out to participate. Good times!

Eggstravaganza

Cousin Playdate

A couple weeks ago, the three of us got together with Will's sister Audra and her son Caleb.

Faith and Caleb love seeing each other.  It is so fun to watch them play.  You gotta love cousins!

Wildlife World Zoo

During spring break, Pappy took Will, Faith and I to the World Wildlife Zoo.  There was so much to do!  There were train rides, a boat tour, a petting zoo, gift shops, animal feedings, and of course hundreds of animal exhibits.  We even had lunch at the restaurant inside the aquarium exhibit, right next to a shark tank!  When we stopped into the gift shop, I fell in love with the little baby alligators and sea turtles.  Will wouldn't let me take any home though. :)  Faith had a blast.  She and I even got to try to feed some giraffes. (boy, are their tongues odd!) I think her favorite part was the little water log ride she convinced us to go on right before we left.  We got completely soaked!  We should have taken a picture then, but I think we were to stunned, and cold. haha!  My fabulous photographer of a husband brought his new camera and did take some awesome pictures of our visit.

Can I just ask everyone's opinion real quick?  Is this not one of the most startling faces you've ever seen?!

My mom took Faith and I down to a cute little pond in Tempe to feed the critters.  It was a great way to spend the afternoon.  We saw....

I thought the turtles were adorable.  I honestly think Faith had the most fun with the pigeons....go figure! :)

Renaissance Festival 2010

We really enjoy the Renaissance Festival and go almost every year.  This weekend we got to go with a group of special friends.  Mommy and Daddy even got a day out with adults! (Thank you grandma & grandpa!)  It was a blast.  It rained off and on all day but nobody minded.  It actually seemed to make it more fun!

Umm, yeah.  I got called up on stage at the Ded Bob Show.  Of course our lovely friends started snapping pictures before you could say, "I am a Ded Bob zombie".  Haha!
